In theory, it's mostly a hotel for passengers staying for the night for the next flight, in practice it's a good base for escapade for a city break if you are fine with bus and train rides to the centre of Helsinki. The breakfast is excellent, with an enormous variety of foods (local, savoury, sweet - everyone can find something for themselves). Another amenity is a compulsory Finnish sauna included in the price of the room, worth trying. The service is very helpful. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to and from the airport, they offer some flexibility when going outside scheduled hours. The neighbourhood is a residential area, a bit further there are many shopping centres. To the centre, you can take bus line no 571 and trunk line no 600. The rooms are quite modern, clean and have various basic amenities like a kettle, fridge, and hair dryer, our had even a terrace/balcony. What is worth mentioning is the very interesting design of the interior, modern but with a twist making it quite unique, kudos to the designer.

The breakfast was served from 5AM which was perfect for my early morning flight. There was a good choice of hot and cold foods as well as juice, teas and coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and advised me on what time I should get the free airport shuttle in the morning. The WiFi was free and the sauna was also free, which was very nice. Bathroom was clean and good, and the beds were very comfortable. All in all, even though it was a little bit more expensive than staying elsewhere, it was excellent value for money and I would definitely come back if I had an early flight to catch.

I could buy a bus ticket from the reception, because the app for Helsinki did not work. The receptionist informed me where I could buy public transportation tickets from in the city.

The airport shuttle service was wonderful, we were coming in late and they accommodated us so well and the shuttle back to the airport very early morning flight. Again the shuttle service was so good and really relieved our anxiety about getting back on time. Being able to grab a quick delicous breakfast before our long journey home was also great and the food offered was hot and fresh. The room was very clean and comfortable. The front desk was friendly and helpful.

There is one room underground where you have microwave, kettle and iron service. Very accomodative place. Our flight was at 6.45am. We had our breakfast there at 3.30am and shuttle service at 4.25am. Very helpful indeed. It is even very clean. Highly recommended for those having transit in Helsinki.
